Security guard is the person who provides us the security from threats like thieves. They are paid for their services. Security guards secure our property and assets from thefts. A security guard is privately owned or hired from a Security Contractor. A  Security Contractor provides the training to the people who want to become security guards.  This training is called Security Guard Training. In Security Guard Training persons were have to tell how to secure people and their property. A security Guard must be active. But this is not good that a security guard should perform 24hr duties. The continuous working may result in lack of performance.

We can see the Security Guards at many places. Often security guards are seen in uniforms. Every Security Contractor provides his own company’s uniform to its security guards. In Security Guard Training the Security Contractor checks the mental and physical capability of the person who wants to become a security guard. Security Guard Training is the important process to become a good security guard.  Many persons who are strong mentally and physically can do the job of a security guard. In an area a security guard should note the numbers or the vehicles that entered in that particular area. That makes unable the outside persons to enter that area and increase security.

There are many categories of security guards. Like the gatekeepers, watchmen, bodyguards etc. During Security Guard Training they are told how and which type of security they have to provide. Security Contractor provides the Security Guards according to the need of people. An Ex-serviceman from army is mostly preferred by the Security Contractors. Because they have no more need of Security Guard Training. Today the women are also preferred as security guards. The women can already work as bodyguards gatekeepers etc. The duty of a security guard is so difficult and full of risks.
